Sierra del Pájaro feels less like a collection of buildings and more like a path through the desert. Brick, concrete, local stone and woven wood sit among mature cardón cacti, agaves and native trees, with the mountains present at every turn.
The Desert Garden
The garden is the heart of the property. Hand-laid stone borders trace sandy paths through cardón cacti, agaves, native grasses and shade trees. The landscape changes with the season, holding the colors, textures and quiet resilience of southern Baja.
The Pool
Set against the surrounding hills, the pool is made for long afternoons. A rustic ramada provides shade, while open terraces invite guests to read, rest and cool off between explorations.
The Stargazing Rooftop
Above the Main House, a broad rooftop terrace looks across the Sierra. Come up for the last light, stay as the air cools, and watch the night sky appear beyond the woven shade canopy.
The Jacuzzi

Architecture
Simple regional materials give Sierra del Pájaro its character: exposed brick, unfinished concrete, hand-worked wood and woven shade structures. The buildings are modest by design, allowing the landscape and changing light to remain the main event.
